Lv Aerial Bunch Cables

At Tamra Wires & Cables, our Aerial Bunched (AB) Cables are designed as a safer, more reliable, and cost-effective alternative to conventional bare overhead distribution lines. Instead of bare conductors, the power conductors are insulated with XLPE and bundled together with a neutral messenger, which may also serve as the load-bearing support.

This construction makes AB Cables particularly suitable for power distribution in urban, rural, and forested areas, where reliability, safety against accidental contact, and reduced right-of-way requirements are critical. They are widely used by utilities, electricity boards, and infrastructure projects for overhead distribution up to 1.1 kV.

With their robust insulation, resistance to theft and faults, and reduced tree-trimming and maintenance needs, Tamra AB Cables provide a long-term, low-loss solution for reliable power supply.

Applications

Tamra AB Cables are ideal for:

Overhead power distribution in urban, rural, and semi-urban areas
Difficult terrains such as hilly regions, coastal belts, and forested zones
Densely populated localities where safety and compact routing are critical
Temporary power supply for construction sites and events
Utility networks seeking reduced transmission losses and theft prevention
